I picked up the phone because I recognised the number as being from my area, only to find myself talking to someone about an alleged traffic accident that I supposedly had a part in. I explained that I hadn’t been involved in any such incident, yet she insisted it might relate to something that happened up to two and a half years ago. When I mentioned that I hadn’t even been residing in the country at that time, she bizarrely suggested it could have occurred on my own land. Before I could even request that she take me off their list, she abruptly terminated the call.
