Got a call from someone with a thick Asian accent asking if I’d been in a car crash. When I told him I wasn’t following, he goes “Oh my God, do you even speak English?” I said no and he replied “Didn’t think so,” then quickly ended the call. Proper oddball! Looks like another spammer to me. Caller ID showed 01162984682.

Didn’t bother picking up, sounded like the same old scam with a local number. Check out what others are saying too. “You’ve been in an accident?” Nah, I don’t buy it. Incoming call was from 0116 2984682.

I picked up the phone because the number looked local. The person on the other end claimed it was about a traffic accident I was supposedly involved in. I told them I hadn’t had any accidents, and they said it might go back as far as two and a half years. I then explained I wasn’t even living in the country then, and they switched to say it could have happened on my property instead. Before I could ask to be taken off their calling list, they just hung up. It’s honestly confusing how these companies get away with this sort of thing.
