I received a call from someone claiming to be an energy consultant for Crown Energy, chatting about our energy supply situation. But the moment I began to probe a bit deeper into what he was saying, he just hung up on me. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

They said it was from ‘Crown’ about my energy supply, but the number they called from isn’t the same as the one on Crown Energy’s official site! Seems fishy to me.

This number keeps ringing loads, but the moment you pick up there’s just dead silence. Looks like some dodgy scam, so I’d say best just block and report it. It probably isn’t active for normal use, just some automated scam call. Personally, I wouldn’t bother answering at all.

I called this number back and it answered with a recorded message offering various options. The sound quality was a bit poor, but I reckon it was from a double glazing firm.
