I got a call from someone claiming to be with 02, chatting about how happy I was with their service. Then they went on about improving things and needing to send out a new SIM card. I told them to just send any details over in writing and ended the call.

Got a call from 01162900510 and it felt pretty legit. I rang back at 0800 0720 808 which is PRS, they handle music rights to keep artists protected. Honestly, it’s smarter to sort out a licence instead of risking a fine. Sounds like it was a caller agent behind it all.

That number, 0116 290 0510, belongs to PPL/PRS Music Licensing. Just a heads up if you get a call from them!

Got a call from someone asking if we played music, but it felt a bit off. Definitely not a legitimate PPL number, seemed like one of those scam calls. Stay careful everyone!

I got a call from 01162904212 saying they were from PRS/PPL, but looks like that’s not true at all.

Like some folks have said before, these people are faking being from PPL PRS and trying to get you to buy a music licence. I rang up the real PPL PRS, and they told me this number isn’t theirs at all. Best to stay clear and be careful - don’t get involved with them.

If it turns out to be them on the line, beware it's a total scam! They convince you to join for music stuff then you get loads of calls afterwards from agents claiming to be from music labels and writers, pushing you to pay similar fees again. Best to just hang up straight away and block their number, don’t get roped in!

Got a call that was obviously spam, so I just blocked the number straight away.

Got a call saying they were from PRS about us not renewing our music licence. Thing is, I already sorted it out myself. As soon as I mentioned that, the bloke said sorry and hung up. Not sure if they were the real deal or just trying their luck.

I've received numerous calls from this number, yet I haven't the foggiest idea who's behind it. I've chosen not to pick up, so I'm none the wiser about who's on the line.

Hold your horses! Even though plenty claim it's NCS, I reached out to them directly and was told that this number doesn't appear in their records at all. Feel free to challenge me if you doubt my word, but go on, give them a ring yourself; they'll confirm that it's not listed in their databases as well! 😊

Got a call from someone claiming to be ncs, wanted me to confirm my postcode so they could check it. I gave them a fake one and told them my info was spot on. Then they said they were ringing from Newcastle but I could tell they were actually in Leicester. Next thing, they started pushing a payment over the phone, sounded like a bit dodgy when a young person was on the other end. Honestly, don’t pick up if you get a call like this!

It's not a telemarketer; it's actually NCS. If you've got a child who's just finished school and is heading off to a camp or a residential programme, that's what it's all about!

Got no clue who it was, so I let it ring off. Haha. If it’s really something urgent, they’ll give me another call. Besides, I don’t know the number so I just ignored it.
