I received a rather dubious call from this number claiming that the warranty on my washing machine had lapsed back in April. I was immediately sceptical, especially since the machine had been repaired not too long ago by someone from the company. The caller proceeded to quote me a figure of £176 to supposedly cover all my appliances, but I had my doubts about whether my direct debit was actually inactive. I told her I'd need to investigate further and would call back. She attempted to pressurise me into making a payment right then and there, but I stood my ground. After hanging up, I contacted my service provider, who reassured me that I was indeed covered, and there were no issues whatsoever. It’s a relief that I tend to be cautious and refrain from sharing my banking details over the phone!

I was approached by them trying to persuade me into purchasing insurance for a rather ancient washing machine of mine. They claimed that if anything were to go awry, I’d receive a shiny new one! Can you believe the audacity? They really don’t give up easily, do they?
