Sounds like an accident scam. They asked if I’d been in a crash, I nicely said no and told them to take me off their list, but she just kept going like I hadn’t answered. I asked again nicely and then she just had the nerve to hang up on me!

Got one of those typical ‘accident’ calls, but this time from a number that sounded like it was based in the UK. When I told them I hadn’t been in any accident, they actually said ‘please hold’ - cheeky! No clue what would’ve happened if I didn’t hang up!

0116 009 6336 Sounds like a crash scam. Got a call from an automated voice that sounded pretty real at first but then just dropped the line. They ring loads of people telling them about a recent car accident they supposedly had. Eventually, they catch someone who actually did have a crash. My guess is they try to con you out of cash afterwards.

Got a woman ringing me about some accident. I said I hadn’t been in one, but she just kept going on and on, like she wasnt listening. I even asked if her headset was faulty ‘cos she wasn’t taking in what I was saying. Then they just cut me off. Would really steer clear of this number.

Pearl Solutions are a pain, they operate out of Maidenhead but use call handlers from abroad. You’ll probably get some dropped calls before they ring, usually from the number 0116 390 6387. Best thing to do is report them to ico.org.uk so they can be shut down.

Got a call from 01163421221, a lady saying she was from Pearl Star something or other. When I asked her to repeat the company name, she kept cutting me off talking about my accident. I got a bit cheeky and said it shouldn't be that difficult to just answer my question, then out of nowhere she just hung up on me?? Definitely sounds like an accident scam, watch out!

Got a call this morning, they said my name right away. I asked who it was, but no answer, just them saying my name over and over. I asked again who's calling and they just kept repeating "too old" multiple times before hanging up. Already blocked the number.
