Got a call from 01162477402 claiming to be with BT Openreach. When I told them no, that’s not true, they just kept saying “you must be joking” repeatedly. Ended up hanging up on them. Seems dodgy, probably a scam.

Got a call from a young bloke from India, claiming he wanted to chat about my life insurance policy. Problem is, I don’t have one! Bit strange, right? Anyway, he just ended the call. Pretty sure this came from that Compare those stupid Meerkats website or whatever it's called.

Much like many, I keep getting calls from Leicester time and again. I never pick up the phone. I simply block the number. It’s rather audacious of them, always swapping their digits. Thankfully, my alert system identifies the calls as coming from Leicester, so I usually just ignore them.
Occasionally, when I've got a bit of time on my hands, I do have a bit of fun leading them on... I know it’s a bit ridiculous, but it can be quite amusing!

A young chap from India just rang me up, keen to chat about my current life insurance plan. The kicker? I don’t even have one! Quite peculiar, wouldn’t you say? He cut the call abruptly.

I’ve received a handful of calls from these buffoons lately. The kicker is that I’m actually a financial adviser myself, managing all my own insurance matters. When I informed one of them about my profession, he asked for some advice since he claims to fork out £40,000 a year on premiums. I couldn’t help but chuckle and told him that he most likely doesn't. He then retorted, “Oh, so you’re accusing me of lying?” I replied, “Yes, indeed!” He then shot back with, “How can you possibly know that?” and promptly ended the call. Honestly, what a pack of numpties!

Got a call from a fella named Silas, said he was an insurance broker. He wanted me to hand over my personal info, but I wasn’t keen on that. He said he’s from South Asia, but the firm he mentioned, Policy Guide, supposedly based in the UK, didn’t show up on any searches I did. He was chatting about how payments could be cheaper with more coverage, and mentioned some law change from December 2017 that meant no tax to pay or something like that. He was quite courteous though and backed off when I told him I wasn’t interested.
