We received the same call. I promptly hung up when they started asking for bank information!

If you go ahead with this, you’ll find yourself selling your car in no time! We certainly did!

I received a call from this number, claiming they could connect us with a potential buyer for the car we have on sale. The price was stated as £79.00, but given that we're already shelling out for an advert, we decided to hang up. It felt a bit off, to be honest.

I received a call from this number, claiming they could connect me with a potential buyer for the vehicle I have listed for registration number 79.00. Quite frankly, I wasn't impressed, especially considering we already pay for advertising ourselves. So, I decided to hang up.

These individuals pulled the same stunt on us as well.

Same here. We're in the process of selling our son's scooter, and these folks claimed they had a buyer who was after precisely what we were offering, right down to the model and price. When we enquired why this buyer didn't just respond to our advert, they explained that the buyer preferred to pay in instalments and that this agency could facilitate that. We found that a bit suspicious, so we decided to wrap up the conversation and hung up the phone. It all felt rather off to us as well.

We experienced the same thing! They claimed to be from Motorplace, but when we made it clear we weren't keen, they kept pressing for a reason. We simply told them it sounded a bit dodgy, gave a chuckle, and then hung up. Quite the cheek, really!

Likewise. We’re in the process of selling our son’s scooter, and these individuals claimed they had a customer perfectly matching the model and price we were offering. So, we asked, why wouldn’t this customer simply respond to our advertisement? They replied that the buyer was looking to pay in instalments, and these folks could facilitate that. At that point, we decided to end the conversation, as it all felt rather suspicious to us as well.
