Got a recorded call supposedly from my bank's fraud dept asking about a charge on my card for a hotel in Cyprus. I hadn’t done any booking like that, so I knew it was dodgy and hung up straight away. The number looked local, so I tried calling back, but it went straight to an error tone like the number doesn’t even exist. Pretty obvious it was a fake to try and scam me.
