Got a phone call from a woman named Mandy who said she was from some company called Global Payments. She mentioned something about a card machine for my business, which is weird because I never asked for anything like that nor contacted anyone about it. It was a completely random call, and she even left a voicemail telling me to ring back on 08007318921 and choose option 4. I’m definitely not answering that one.

some bloke phoned saying he was from our bank and wanted to speak to my husband about some payment machines we supposedly agreed to discuss. the worrying part is we actually do have an account with that bank. i told him we already use a card machine, and he said he’d remove me from his list. only later did i figure out he wasn’t from the bank at all.

Got a call from some unknown number out of nowhere, no idea who it was. Just one of those random ring rings that pop up and vanish. Pretty annoying when you have no clue who’s ringing.
