Absolutely, I’ve received a call from the same number as Tony, and the message is pretty much a carbon copy of his. At least they’ve bothered to leave a message, but I haven’t the foggiest idea who they are. We're starting to think it’s yet another bunch of debt collectors on the hunt for the previous occupants of this place. It’s quite infuriating, really!

What a lot of people don’t seem to grasp is that these firms pocket a hefty fee of about 25 to 30%! The truth is, you can sort this all out easily by getting in touch directly with the provider of your policy or your bank, and it won't cost you a bean... Why shell out for the same service twice? As for the Telephone Preference Service, what a waste of time! When I called them to find out why I was still receiving all this advertising rubbish, they informed me they can only tackle legitimate calls. What good is that? Charities and the like are still free to pester us, and they’ve got no power to manage that. So unless we just yank our phones out of the wall, it feels like we’re stuck enduring these irritating cold callers endlessly!

I’m absolutely fed up with all these annoying calls! This is just another one out of plenty I’ve been getting. I’ve started jotting down the numbers, dates and times, but I don’t know how to block them properly. Loads come from withheld or out-of-area numbers.
