What a right pain these callers are! They keep pestering our mobile, and we can never answer in time because of the absurd hours they choose to ring. And as soon as you try to call them back, you're just left hanging on the line, listening to some automated voice that insists your call will be answered shortly-only for it to never happen! It’s utterly baffling how they even obtained our mobile number in the first place!

"Constant harassment, isn't it? Cheers for the heads-up! This number has been buzzing my phone repeatedly. Next time, I think I'll answer and give them a piece of my mind."

For the past few days, I've been receiving calls from these individuals non-stop. After doing a bit of digging on this site, we’re seriously considering investing in a whistle to blast down the line the next time they attempt to call us! It’s absolutely maddening...

I've been receiving calls daily from this number, which appears to be associated with TalkTalk. As I'm not a customer of theirs, it seems likely they're trying to entice me to switch to their offerings. Each time I answer, the calls seem to start right away-it’s quite bothersome! Typically, we hang up without engaging, but curiosity got the better of us this time, prompting us to investigate who’s behind this pesky number.

This number called me, and the moment I answered, it went completely quiet. It's so frustrating!

Sharon, I’d suggest you look into a couple of options. Firstly, BT does offer the ability to decline service for up to ten specific numbers, giving you the reins when it comes to managing unwanted calls (0800 1692707). Additionally, there are organisations that provide free advice regarding nuisance calls (0800 661441). If you're not currently with BT, your new provider should be contacted for assistance. And do keep in mind that the Harassment Act (1997) offers you certain protections. I hope this information proves helpful to you!

Over the last couple of months, I've been inundated with daily calls from these individuals-at times, they'll even ring me twice in a single day! It's astonishing how they just won't accept a firm "no." What’s the reasoning behind persistently reaching out when it’s abundantly clear that I'm not keen? Frankly, with each call, their relentless pursuit only serves to wind me up further!

I've received calls from this number a whopping four times so far this month, with two of those occurring today alone-once at 1pm and again at a quarter past four. Each time, I pick up, but all I get is silence. It's quite baffling! Has anyone else had a similar experience or knows who’s behind this?

In April 2009, we received an enormous bill from BT that we’ve only just come across. It includes a charge for a staggering 14-hour call to this number, a call I’m quite certain I never made. To add to our confusion, we’re on the anytime plan, which means we shouldn’t have been billed for any calls at all. Who are these folks, and what on earth could justify this charge?

This number has tried to reach me multiple times - once at 8 this evening and then again just now around 7. I’m not inclined to respond, though, given the persistent calling.

I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service and have opted out as well, so it’s quite puzzling how these folks got hold of our number. I’ve been ringing them back and giving them a piece of my mind as soon as we connect. It certainly adds a bit of excitement to an otherwise dull day. I hope anyone reading this joins in the fun too! :)

I received a call from this number as well...anyone have any clue who it might be?

Oh right, I see what you mean! That number called us earlier in the day, and we’re currently with AOL. But a little while back, we were exploring broadband packages and did put my phone number in with a handful of different providers. It seems those folks are probably just following up to check if we're ready to commit. This site has been rather helpful, so cheers for that!

Blimey, these blokes gave us a bell, right? The moment we try to call back and find out who they are, it’s like they’ve vanished into thin air - not a peep from them. What a right pain!

I keep getting the same calls repeatedly, day after day. Thankfully, we decided to look up the number and came across this site, which revealed who was behind it. Scoundrels!

Called again, same outcome - it’s 6:30 in the evening!

These individuals persistently ring us up, insisting they're affiliated with a charity. Yet, when we explain that genuine charitable efforts begin at home and we aren't inclined to engage, they tend to hang up. Since conveying our stance, they seem to have ceased their calls, but for how long this change will last remains a mystery to us.

We were made aware that this was a telephone service. The gentleman we spoke to was rather professional and seemed eager to assist, providing all the information we needed. However, alarm bells started ringing when he suggested that we register via phone instead of online, presumably so he could pocket his commission. Naturally, that would entail sharing our banking details, as they seem to crop up on cheques and bank cards. We certainly don't feel comfortable with that notion.

Indeed, I’ve received a multitude of calls from this number associated with Speak Talk. It’s absolutely vexing how they persist in reaching out even after I’ve clearly expressed my disinterest. Quite bothersome, to say the least!

I just had an experience with a caller who rang and as soon as we picked up, it automatically connected back to them again. It seemed like it was some sort of telemarketing ploy; they were clearly trying to solicit business. Honestly, it was quite bothersome and I think it’s important to report this nuisance.

I just received a call from these folks, and they've definitely earned a spot on our list of blocked numbers. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to get in touch again using a different number soon. It's so irritating!

Would someone be able to put an end to these bothersome calls? We've paid to have our number taken off the directory, but you wouldn't believe the number of sales calls we keep getting. It's utterly ridiculous!

We foolishly put our faith in these individuals and registered with their service, only to discover that our details weren't even in their system when we called! We even gave them our banking information! We know we've been daft, but we were completely taken in. If anyone could shed light on the identity of this company that made the call, we would be immensely thankful. Or if you've got any tips on how to uncover this information, that would be brilliant. Cheers!
