I received a call from someone who purportedly represented TalkTalk. However, I have serious doubts about its authenticity - clearly, it's a bunch of scammers trying to fish for your personal information! Stay vigilant, everyone!

Got a call supposedely from Liverpool but the number actually had a Leicester area code, sounded fishy right away. They said there was a password on my PC so they could get in, but I didn’t buy it. Looks like they were aiming to grab my bank info, total scammer move.

I’m honestly not shocked this call claimed to be from TalkTalk. Today alone, our phone rang three times but each time someone just hung up as soon as we picked up. From one of those missed calls, I used 1471 to get the number. Also, in the last couple of days, we've had four calls pretending to be from TalkTalk, and every time we’ve told them to stop calling us. But it hasn’t made any difference at all. You’d think TalkTalk could do something to put an end to these annoying calls.

I keep getting calls from these so-called tech support people who say they’re from TalkTalk. They want you to let them install software on your PC that apparently watches everything you do. When you question them, they just hang up. After a few of these, I got another call from 02077253030 claiming to be Microsoft support with the exact same spiel. It’s really frustrating, and honestly, shouldn’t the police be cracking down on this kind of nonsense?

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming she was calling on behalf of TalkTalk. Said there were issues with my router or something like that. I straight up told her she was trying to scam me since I don’t even use TalkTalk. She insisted otherwise and got pretty rude. I then mentioned I was recording everything and would report her number to the cops. Next thing, she just ended the call.

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming she was from TalkTalk. She said my computer was apparently sending error alerts to them. When I told her I didn’t think it was legit, she just ended the call, saying it was a scam. Felt pretty dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone with a really strong Asian accent claiming to be from TalkTalk. Their English was awful and they kept trying to convince me of something. I told them I no longer use that provider and straight up said they seemed like scammers and to buzz off.

They began ringing me at about 7:45 this morning. So far today, I've gotten six calls from them, but I haven't picked up a single one.

No shocker that the call said it was from TalkTalk. Today alone, the phone went three times, but whoever was calling just hung up as soon as I picked up. I did manage to use 1471 to get the number from one of those calls. Plus, over the last couple of days, we've had four more calls pretending to be from TalkTalk, and I've told them all to stop calling us - didn't make any difference though. You'd think TalkTalk could do something to stop these dodgy callers once and for all.

Just got a call from some muppet claiming to be from TalkTalk again. Do these chaps not get how many others are doing the exact same con? If you get these calls over and over, you’d know it’s a total scam, yet these muppets keep on ringing as if we’re going to suddenly trust them. Spoiler: we’re not idiots, it’s obviously a scam every single time.

Got a call earlier and the guy sounded Asian, said he was from TalkTalk. When I asked what the call was about, he just hung up on me. Bit shady if you ask me.
