Totally a scam. It’s some fake insurance claim outfit. You get an automated lady asking about a car crash you never had. If you keep listening or respond, they send you through to some dodgy call centre in Asia. Don’t bother answering, just hang up straight away.

Absolutely! Just had a rather strange call today. A woman claimed to be from First Respond and started questioning me about why I hadn’t followed up with them regarding an accident over the last three years. The thing is, I’ve never been in any mishap at all! It was quite bewildering, to say the least. I ended up handing my phone to my fiancé, and just like that, they hung up. Crikey, what a bizarre encounter! 😳

Today, I received an unexpected phone call at work from this outfit claiming to be inquiring about an accident I supposedly had-except I haven’t been in any accident at all! Before I set them straight, I inquired about who I was conversing with and the name of the organisation. The chap introduced himself as Rob and mentioned his company was called First Response. I firmly told him to take my workplace number off their contact list posthaste, and I warned him that if I got any more calls from them, I would be filing a complaint with the relevant authorities.
