That’s Fischer, the heating firm. I asked for a brochure and did get it, but there were no prices listed anywhere! Fischer heating gear is probably some of the best out there but they do have their issues. Most of the problems come from their high prices and pushy salespeople who just want their commission. There are plenty of other options that work nearly as well but won’t cost you as much. Definitely something to watch out for.

Funny thing is, I got a Fischer Heating flyer today. It talked about an "air source" model for its "eco" heater but never actually said "heat pump" which is the important bit that actually cuts energy use and, over time, saves cash. I got a call at 09:51 on 26th October 2020. When I picked up, it was completely silent and then the caller just hung up. I think it was from Fischer Heat. These kind of cold calls are really intrusive and put me off completely. If a company is that pushy, there’s no way I’d ever buy anything from them.
