Just block the number, it’s definitely some sort of scam.

I got a call from this number saying hackers were attempting to hijack my internet and that I had to shut it down for like 15 days. The person claimed they were from BT tech support. I asked them to send the details in an email or something, but they just hung up on me. When I phoned BT myself, they told me it was a scam call.

this morning i got a call from this number but all i could hear was office sounds, dead silent otherwise. they also rang from 01202265508 a while ago, same kind of thing.

got a ring from this number claiming to be bt. they said my pc was being hacked and others were using it. they wanted me to open windows and hit r. when i asked for a number to call back and check, they gave me 0121 2840880. looked up that number and found out it’s a scam. i then dialled 1471 and it showed the call came from 01162417435. watch out for this!
