We've been getting calls from a number associated with a company named 'Consumer Creative' that's supposedly doing some sort of 'lifestyle survey'. Interestingly, the digits seem to be UK-based, but with a bit of digging, it becomes apparent that the calls are actually coming from India. Unfortunately, the TPS and ICO seem powerless to intervene.

This number phoned me twice with about an hour and a half between calls. The first time, it just hung up as soon as I picked up. When the second call came through, the person asked for me by name, but when I asked who they were, they started rambling a bit and then I said the connection was rubbish and asked for them to repeat themselves. They then ended the call. They had called me twice the day before as well, but I wasn’t home, so I only noticed their number popped up really late last night.
