Received a call from this number earlier today. I tried calling back to find out what it was about, but as soon as we answered, it went silent, only to be interrupted by a constant engaged signal. It’s reassuring to see someone has identified the number belonging to a business in Leicester. I seem to recall this company being featured on Watchdog for similar issues. We recently received a call from them regarding grants for loft and cavity wall insulation. The chap mentioned a company called Malume (with an accent on the 'e', if I recall correctly). We attempted to transfer the call to someone else, but it literally took us just thirty seconds to do so, and we got cut off.

Absolutely, I've had a call from these chaps too! They answered with "Hello Mrs *******," which made it clear they knew our name already. Apparently, they were keen to discuss when we’d had our loft insulation done. I made it quite clear that I'm on the Telephone Preference Service list, so they really have no business ringing us. I told him firmly to refrain from calling in future. He tried to act as if he was completely oblivious to the many complaints like ours. Honestly, it was like he thought he could get away with it-like spotting a pig flying by! When I pointed this out, he abruptly hung up on me.

Got a call from Absolute Insulation recently - they pretended to be "Government Energy Advisers" but were actually trying to sell insulation. Even if you're on the TPS, they'll ring you up. Be careful and don’t trust them!
