9 yearsI received a call from someone claiming to be following up on an accident I had recently. He mentioned it wasn’t concerning injuries but rather some discomfort. I mentioned that I wasn’t experiencing either. Yet, he persisted in confirming my personal details. Foolishly, I provided the information without really thinking it through. Rest assured, I won’t be signing or agreeing to anything. He kept rambling on about how the funds would be tied up for two and a half years, after which the other party's insurers could claim it and use it however they please. I informed him that I'm not concerned with how they spend their money. Quite cross with myself now for giving any details to what feels like a dubious firm. I'm feeling quite the fool!
