They keep ringing even tho I blocked the number ages ago, every day I get a notification saying you missed a call from me but no other info. I’m thinking of unblocking it just to catch the details properly next time they call, then I’ll report it to the telephone preference service as a complaint. I’m already signed up for TPS, so they should really stop harassing me. I’ve had a bit of fun wasting their time too, those muggers.

If a pension scammer tries to send a courier, I just do what works for me. I give them a fake name and an address of a nearby pub that’s been ruined and empty for over 4 years. Then I block their number. If the courier ends up making a pointless trip, even better! I use the same tactic with solar panel scammers - can’t wait to see them try to fit panels on a ruined pub roof that isn’t even there. Feels good to turn the tables on these nasty lot. Funny enough, they never ring back and it’s kinda satisfying.

Some bloke who said he was from DWP and mentioned my pension review! Told him to buzz off and ended the call. Have blocked the number since.

They sent some courier to get me to sign straight away, claiming they wanted to "assist" with my pension. They didn't end the call properly and actually called me an "f'ing b'stard" because I refused to accept the delivery! Proper scary close call. I called my pension company right after to let them know.

I told them I’d already been dealing with the government about the changes since before I retired. they just said thanks and ended the call. never share your info with random callers. if it’s important, look up the official number and ring them direct.
