So, I listed my cousin's car on Gumtree and put my phone number there. Within like 5 minutes, I got calls from about seven different numbers, all from another city. They kept telling me I’d been in an accident. When I said I didn’t even have a car, they suggested maybe I was involved as a passenger. And if I denied that too, they’d go on about whether anyone in my family had been in a crash. It was pretty annoying and felt quite dodgy.
