i got a call from someone offering insurance for my washing machine since apparently the manufacturer’s warranty was up. but when i asked them to name the manufacturer, they just couldn’t say. then when i wondered how they even knew what machine i had, they just hung up straight away. feels like a total scam if you ask me.
