I find it quite infuriating that the call just doesn’t connect at all! It’s rather odd, as we then receive a message from Orange informing us that we’ve missed a call with a peculiar international prefix. Honestly, if these folks want to squander their time, so be it! Most call centres generally initiate a dial-out, and when you pick up, it’s like being shuffled to the next available agent who’s ready to pester you. So when you answer a suspiciously strange number, be prepared to be left hanging for what feels like an eternity. I’d suggest just hanging up before it connects-there’s no financial toll to pay, and your number will simply go back to the end of the queue in their system.

As soon as we answered the call, the person on the other end promptly hung up. We tried ringing the number back, but it wouldn't take any incoming calls. Who on earth could that have been?

I’ve tried connecting with this number multiple times, but it just won’t happen. Instead, I find myself receiving a message from Orange telling me I’ve missed a call from ++++++. If these folks want to fritter away their time, that’s their choice. Most call centres will just dial out automatically, and when you pick up, they quickly pass you off to the next available agent, who’s often just as tiresome. When you answer a strange number, it goes silent for ages, so I suggest hanging up before it connects. It won’t cost you anything, and your number gets bumped back down the list, so no harm done!

I've had this number ring me multiple times, but they never leave any messages. The moment I answer, they ask for me by name, but as soon as I say I’m here, they hang up! I tried calling back, but it seems that this number doesn’t take incoming calls at all. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
