I've had numerous calls from this number, and they keep ringing me up, claiming that I've secured a runner-up position in some contest, but there's a catch-I have to fork out for breakfast first!

Received a dodgy call claiming I'd won some competition on Instagram. I've come across other reports where individuals were conned out of £80 and never got the holiday they were promised as part of their so-called prize. Don't part with your cash, steer clear of these scammers!

Last week, I got two voicemails from someone saying I'd been picked as one of 10 winners for a free weekend trip, and that I'd only need to cover breakfast for myself and a guest. Tried calling back but no luck getting through. Then today, they rang again, I picked up but didn’t say a word. They called me by my name, sounded like the same person, and then just ended the call. Bit odd if you ask me.

This morning, I received a rather curious voicemail informing me that the grand prize had already been claimed, but they were prepared to offer me a complimentary two-night, three-day getaway in the UK-if I simply covered the cost of breakfast. However, I didn’t catch the name of the company; the only detail I managed to glean was that the caller was named Trudy. Now, it strikes me as odd. If this was supposedly from an Instagram competition, how on earth did they come by my number? It all seems a bit fishy to me, and honestly, I can’t recall signing up for any such competition.

Similar to others, I received a call claiming I'd won a competition for a weekend getaway, but they insisted I had to cover the cost of breakfast. The moment I requested him to send me the details via email, he abruptly ended the call.

I've had a bunch of calls lately, all showing up on my phone as "possible scam." I usually just ignore them. Today, one went through to my voicemail but nobody said anything and they just hung up straight away.

I received a call from this number earlier today, claiming I’d been selected as a runner-up in some competition. They mentioned I just needed to cover the cost of breakfast for the two days I’d supposedly have to stay at their accommodation for free. Sounds a bit dodgy, don’t you think?

Got a call from some place saying I was one of 10 lucky winners for a free weekend trip. They told me I just had to pay £82 for breakfast and the stay was covered. Sounded a bit dodgy if you ask me.

I received a voicemail stating I had allegedly won a holiday through Instagram, but there was no mention of my name. The message urged me to ring 08009506364 (Mini Breaks UK), yet I can't recall ever entering into any competition. Quite the mystery, isn’t it?

I accidentally checked a box asking if I wanted to be contacted when I signed up for a competition about weekend getaways. It was really just a marketing ploy to get people to book Mini Breaks in the UK. The “deal” was to pay £82 for breakfast over 2 days for two people and then get the accommodation for “free”. Fair warning - it’s not as good a bargain as it sounds! x

I got a call telling me I'd supposedly won a weekend trip, but they wanted me to ring 08009506364 to cover the cost of breakfast upfront. Pretty sure this number is just another spam scam.
