I got a call claiming to be from Amazon, warning me about some dodgy purchase on my account. The caller said if I ended the call, the payment would still be taken from my bank card linked to Amazon and I'd be stuck with the charge since I supposedly ignored their alert. Thing is, I don’t even have an Amazon account, so I just ended the call straight away.
