got a call from some call centre saying my ppi claim was approved and there was a cheque of about £3,000 ready for me. i humoured them for a bit but then they asked for my dob. seemed odd, why would they want that just to send a cheque? plus, i’ve never even made a pi claim. smelled like a phishing attempt or something dodgy. defo block and ignore these ones.
