He addressed me by my full name and stated that an iPhone 11 had been purchased using my Amazon account, which apparently had insufficient funds. He pressured me to make an immediate payment and even began shouting, insisting, “You ARE going to pay for this!” Confused, I queried him about the details, and he suddenly shifted his story, insisting that a payment was about to be withdrawn from my bank account and urged me to log in to verify. I probed further, and to my astonishment, he proclaimed, “It’s happening now… yes, it’s gone - £799 has been taken from your account. You should check right away.” It became painfully clear that he wasn’t representing Amazon at all, and this was just a scam.
