This number just rang me, and it was a bloke with an Asian accent claiming he was from tech support about my computer. He said there were some dodgy programmes running when I was checking emails and browsing online. I played along, acting worried and said I'd check the PC logs for the past week. After looking, I told him nothing seemed wrong at all. Then he got a bit pushy, saying he wasn't talking about a virus. I ended up telling him I work in IT and that what he was saying was rubbish, then warned I'd report him to the police.

Got one of those classic fake tech support calls again, claiming there’s some sort of issue with my computer from “the official provider’s support team.” Seems like their spiel’s been tweaked a bit since the last time. Didn’t fancy messing about with the bloke today, so I just called him out straight away, saying I knew it was a con and he’d probably ask me to open event viewer and pretend the regular logs were serious errors. He denied it flat out. I then mentioned I’ve been in IT for over three decades, and he simply hung up.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a tech support company, said my PC was full of issues. The guy was really pushy and aggressive, took me about 10 minutes of arguing before he finally gave up on trying to trick me. He told me he was with Tech Help based in Acton. Definitely felt like a scam to me!

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent saying there was something wrong with my computer. I hung up, but he kept phoning me over and over. Really rude, pushing and just plain annoying.

Today I got a call from this number, and it was some guy with an Asian accent trying to pass off as working for a computer security firm. I just told him to get lost and ended the call. Has anyone checked if the police are aware of this number?

This number called me earlier today, and the woman on the line had a pretty noticeable Asian accent. She started talking about some issue with my computer. I didn’t even let her finish - I just chuckled, said “no thanks”, and ended the call straight away.

Today I got a call from this number, didn’t know it so I didn’t bother calling back. I looked it up here tho, and yep, it’s the kind I’d just ignore and hang up on too.

About twenty mins ago I got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent asking for the person who owned the computer. He claimed there was some secret software being downloaded along with other stuff and wanted me to log in so he could show me how to stop it. I told him to jog on, sounded like nonsense to me, and then I just hung up. I get calls like this all time and they’re seriously annoying.
