The number showed up as local on my caller ID but flagged as "International" which confused me a bit. Thinking it was someone from nearby, I picked up. A robotic American lady’s voice then claimed I’d just shelled out £300+ on an iPhone 7 through Amazon. If I hadn’t made that purchase, she wanted me to press "1" to sort it out. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me, likely designed to rip you off if you respond. Honestly, quite pathetic, but sadly I reckon some people might get caught out by it. Would definitely say it’s quite a risky call to get.
