Today some bloke told me to lick certain bits of him - but I usually let them get as far as asking me to verify my bank info before I say nope, it's just sort code I know you're dodgy, and account number no money from me - when they ring back to shout at me, I just put on some tunes - I reckon they’ll be the ones feeling rough before I do.

This morning, I received a barrage of six calls! I decided to ring 1471 to find out who was behind it and when I attempted to return the call, I was met with a message stating that the number was unrecognisable. How on earth can someone make calls while using a fake number that doesn’t show up correctly? This is absolutely ridiculous and something really needs to be done about it. It’s even more frustrating than the usual number withheld nonsense!

Some bloke called asking if I was still getting dodgy calls. I told him yes, this one right now, and told him to remove my number from his records or I'd report him to OFCOM. Then I just ended the call.

Every time I pick up, there's no one speaking, so I tried ringing back to have a word with whoever it was, but I only got an automated message saying the number isn't valid. BT and OFCOM seriously should keep an eye on these numbers when they hand them out.

Got around 5 calls from 011159712456 today (16/06/2018). When I answer, it's silent for a few secs then a voice just says 'goodbye' and hangs up. If I don’t pick up it stops after a few rings. These calls happen loads of times every day. Really frustrating, especially as the phone tends to ring when I’m busy with stuff.

Got four calls from this number so far today, they began around 8:30 in the morning and have been coming pretty much non-stop this past week. I just stay silent when I answer and the call ends straight away. Before, I’ve had calls asking about nuisance calls, pushing me to update my TPS details, and stuff about direct debits. When that happened, I had a chuckle and told them to stop acting childish. I didn’t jot down the numbers before, so can’t say if it’s the same lot, but it’s odd that others getting calls from here have also talked about TPS.

Got a call from this number about half an hour back. Looks like it's some kind of automated system cos no one spoke and after around 15 seconds, a recorded voice just said bye and hung up. Ever since TalkTalk got breached yonks ago, I reckon my phone number is now getting shared around all these scammy folks in India. When I answer, I usually tell them they're ringing a business, which often puts them off, but some do keep trying again later.

Received two calls today from an Indian guy named Tom and another called Jack, both saying they were from TPS. When I told Tom I wasn’t interested and ended the call, Jack started swearing at me. I can handle these morons but I reckon some folks might feel frightened. It’s horrible that they’re still allowed to pull off this scam.

Got a call from someone named Michael, claiming to be from TPS, but honestly sounded like a call centre in India. He already had my name and address, which was a bit worrying, then started asking about the direct debit I use for my phone bill. That’s when I just told him to stuff it and ended the call.

Got a call earlier from a woman with an Indian accent, said her name was Jack and claimed to be from TPS. She asked for my card expiry to check my info, so I gave her a fake date. Then she passed me to someone else, also called Jack. I told them it was a scam, but she kept pushing for my card details. After I refused, she called me names like d##khead and a###hole before hanging up. About 15 minutes later, they called back asking the same stuff, then wanted my sort code. When I messed up the made-up numbers, they accused me of lying. Proper dodgy behaviour.

They've phoned me half a dozen times from two different numbers. Sounds like they're from India or somewhere similar, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t actually local, maybe around Nottingham or Leicester. It’s daft they use English phone numbers though. I reckon they might’ve tried from overseas too, but my phone blocks international calls automatically. I’d block withheld numbers as well, but unfortunately loads of official places like councils and doctors use them. Can’t block unknown callers either, and some from this lot are using that, but I’ve sussed them out now.
