Got one of those usual 'TalkTalk' scam calls today. Played along with the bloke from India for a bit, then asked him what my main ISP email was, knowing there's no way he'd get it right. After that, I let rip with a proper string of nasty and racist insults. He tried to fire back before suddenly dropping the call. Proper bloody mess.

the caller didnt speak english and asked for someone by my name, when i asked who it was they just hung up. seems like a total scam to me.

On 16/01/18 around 1:30pm I got one of those old TalkTalk router scams. It wasn’t too much of an issue since we got rid of our TalkTalk router about two years back.

Had a call from someone named Mark with an Asian accent, saying something about my Virgin Media internet. I haven't used Virgin for more than a decade! I just rudely told him to buzz off.

For two hours, this number called me three different times. Since I’ve got caller ID, I just ignored all the rings.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with TalkTalk about my internet usage over the past few days. I told them I’d ring TalkTalk directly to check, and that’s when they just hung up on me.

Got a call around 12:50 from someone saying they were with TalkTalk, talking about others using our internet. Sounded pretty convincing but turned out to be total nonsense. I’d say it’s safer to just hang up quickly and not bother with it.
