Got a robotic call claiming to be from my internet company threatening to cut my service. I didn’t bother listening to the entire message since I've had a bunch of these calls recently, all from various phone numbers.

At about 8.40 this morning, I got a call from someone claiming to be BT, saying my internet was being accessed from abroad. I wasn’t having any of it and told them I didn’t believe a word, especially as they woke me up. They kept on talking even as I was putting the phone down. The voice sounded foreign, maybe Indian, and I could hear other voices in the background. I’ve flagged it as suspicious because it could easily scare someone into giving away personal details.
