I've received countless calls from these pestering folks seeking details from me, and I've firmly decided to decline their inquiries. They’ve rung me up four times now, and I reckon it’s high time I start to have a bit of fun. Next time they call, I’m planning to reel off a string of utterly daft responses just to keep them busy. It might be worth it for everyone to take a similar approach; maybe then they'll finally take the hint!

Had this number ring me a couple of times today, it's getting really annoying. I've got call-blocking set up already and this one is going straight on the blacklist. If you're on the Telephone Preference Service, don't expect this to help because the calls come from overseas and the number shows up as a UK one, which just fools the system. What's worse, these scammers are using our own names, so they've probably got hold of a database somehow - maybe from somewhere dodgy online or even bought legally. Best to see which sites or companies have your info and try to get it taken off if you can.

Marked it as ‘unknown’ since I didn’t get to speak to anyone, but after reading other reviews it seems like one of those annoying calls.

This bloke called me up, sounding like he had a thick West Indian or African accent. Kept asking if I was Mrs, but wouldn’t say who he was. When I tried to find out who he was, he just said Bob and got all pushy, repeating if I was Mrs (using my actual last name). Didn’t give him any details, but he just kept on getting more rude about it. Eventually, he just cut the call.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent yesterday at around 7.15 in the morning. When I asked why he was ringing so early, he just hung up on me. Then he phoned again at 9.15, but I ignored it. I'm on the Telephone Preference Service list, but clearly that doesn’t stop them ringing.
