They kept ringing my phone over and over but never actually left a voicemail or anything.

Got a dodgy call claiming to be Virgin Media's internet security team. The woman said folks from another country were using my internet and they needed to get into my PC to stop it. I asked for the usual security questions to prove who she was, but then she just dropped the call. After that, I rang Virgin myself on their official number and they said everything's fine with my connection. Definitely felt like a scam.
