I rang up and wanted to speak to the person in charge but they refused to say their name or mention the company they were from. Pretty annoying call, really.

Had a woman ring me named Ellie, she was asking for the owner of the business. They keep calling my workplace every few days, always at the same time, even though ive told them the owner isnt around then. It’s a bit annoying that they dont get the hint.

I asked who was running the business and then they just hung up on me.

She called herself Louise and was really rude, like she needed some chill pills or a mood transplant. It’s clear nobody takes her calls seriously or she’d probably be out of a job already.

some woman called me and just started off using my first name like she knew me, i couldnt really catch what she was saying cause there was loads of noise in the background. when i asked who she was, she just said louise and asked if i was with bt. i tried asking what the call was about but she just ended the call on me - really quite disrespectful.

Really pushy and quite rude, kept ringing to try and sell broadband for a business.

Got a call at my job from someone in Connecticut, babbling about internet stuff and asking to talk to the owner. Proper annoying.

Got a call from some guy at Connect Telecom, he was pushing phone packages for VOIP or something. When I told him we don’t even have a landline, he actually called me a bloody idiot! Proper rude bloke.

On 18th February 2016, I received an unsolicited phone call from a representative who claimed he could slash our phone bill. I explained to him that we’ve established a policy with all our service providers to strictly communicate through written correspondence-be it letters or emails-and that any cold calls would be met with a firm “no thanks, and don’t call again.” Despite this, he insisted he could ring me whenever he pleased, day or night. When I mentioned we were registered with the Telephone Preference Service, he dismissed it, saying it wouldn’t hinder his attempts. At that moment, the conversation started feeling quite menacing. I requested he hold for a moment while I activated our recording device, which we normally use for evidence purposes. I informed him that the call was now being recorded and asked for his name. He blatantly ignored my request and pressed on with his sales pitch. I interrupted him again, reiterating my request for his name for the record, yet he still refused. I expressed my reluctance to engage with someone unwilling to identify themselves and prompted him to at least offer a name, any name! Eventually, I insisted that all further discussions should revert to written form, which prompted him to hang up. After a mere ten minutes, I decided to ring back the faceless caller using the number 01159 473198. A male voice picked up, and I asked to speak with the individual who had just called me. He then queried what the caller's name was, to which I replied that he had refused to provide it. I asked if he could find out who had made the call just before, but he claimed that was beyond his capabilities. When I pressed him for his own name, he inquired why it mattered. I pointed out that individuals who withhold their names should be disregarded entirely. At that, the call ended once again.

I received a phone call from this number earlier today. When I tried calling back, they just cut me off! I stumbled across some information on a different site indicating it belongs to a call centre. Regardless, it’s quite the annoyance...

This number has called our home repeatedly.
