I got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, saying they’d spotted some odd stuff going on with my router. Since my internet isn’t through BT, I immediately thought it was dodgy. Usually these scams are pretty aggressive, but this guy seemed a bit green at it. He didn’t sound all that sure there was actually a problem, so it was easy for me to spot the con and hang up.

There was a number I didn’t know, so I just let it ring out to voicemail. When I checked, there was no message at all.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from “bt”, saying something about suspicious activity on my internet around 4 in the morning. She then started asking how many lights were showing on my router. At that point, I just hung up - felt scammy to me.
