I've been getting loads of calls every time I post something on Gumtree. Just this hour alone, I had three calls: one from 0333, two from 0161, and one from 0115. I could tell it was linked to Gumtree because when I told the guy from 0161 to take me off their list, he actually agreed and hung up. That was a shock since these calls usually aren’t polite, and I’m not always courteous myself! But then, he rang back from the exact same number, and bizarrely, started off with "you’ve got a lovely bike for sale." I did put up my motocross bike for sale on Gumtree just yesterday. Now, I’ve taken my phone number off the ad completely. These scammers are just an absolute pain and proper nuisances!

I've been experiencing the exact same issue. These folks keep pestering me with calls; I've had three in the past few weeks. Yet whenever I try to call them back, it's just a series of beeps.
