I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from BT regarding my internet service. As I’m not a BT customer, this struck me as either a scam-possibly originating from overseas but cleverly disguised to appear local, given the caller's distinctly foreign accent-or merely a marketing ploy. To make matters worse, I'm on the Telephone Preference Service list, so I shouldn't be receiving such calls at all!
