I’m not sure what the company was called, but they said they’d sent me a letter about saving energy and wanted to check if I’d got it. Honestly, I couldn't remember getting any letter (felt like they might not have actually sent one and it was a bit of a trick). Then they asked if I wanted external wall insulation, but I told them I already had cavity wall insulation so didn’t need it. Just as I was saying that, the call ended suddenly which struck me as quite cheeky. So I phoned them back to complain, but the calls kept dropping. Eventually, someone did pick up and said they’d pass on my concerns. Right when I was about to ask if they knew about the Telephone Preference Service, the call got cut off again out of nowhere.
