Got a call from someone saying they were with BT Openreach, which was funny since I don't even use them for my internet. I wondered what the problem was, so I asked. They said my router was sending corrupted data to their servers, which was messing with my internet and email. When I asked why I hadn’t noticed anything wrong, the guy told me to check the lights on my router. I asked him to describe what my router looked like, and after a big sigh, he just hung up. Pretty sure this was just a dodgy scam trying to steal personal info and bank details.
