Been getting loads of quiet calls, reckon it's some recruitment agency. You can hear people talking softly in the back, sounds like a call centre or something.

I've been getting a bunch of quiet calls lately, they say they're from some job agency. You can barely hear mumbling like it’s coming from those big call centres.

This number gave me a ring two times today, but I was caught up and having a quick lunch before an appointment, so I didn't bother answering. They didn’t leave any voicemail or message, which I find quite annoying. If they can’t be bothered to leave a message, it makes me wonder what’s wrong with them. What happens if I’d been out when they called my landline? It’s their own fault for not leaving anything on my answerphone and for not trying my mobile, which I always have on me everywhere I go.

I got a couple of missed calls from this number today but no voicemail left. Then I received an email from Express Recruitment saying they've been trying to get hold of me on my landline to discuss job opportunities. I was busy when they called the last three times and couldn’t answer. I’ll just get back to them via email since I don’t want to rack up charges - my BT contract doesn’t cover daytime calls on my landline. It’s a bit frustrating though because they kept ringing during the day without considering I might not be home. I was actually in, but why didn’t they try my mobile? It’s on the CV I submitted, so surely they have phones that can call mobiles? Seems daft to call a landline repeatedly when mobiles are the norm these days.

This afternoon I got a couple of calls from this number, both went straight to voicemail but strangely, no messages were left, and the ringing sounded a bit dodgy. I looked it up online and it might be Express Recruitment, probably about a job I recently applied for through them. But if it was really them, surely they'd have left me a message. I'm not risking calling back because of the weird ring tone - don’t want any unexpected charges on my bill. If they need to get in touch, an email would be much better. Then, around 5.17pm, I had another call from 0203 5534013, which my phone had already flagged as Spam Toss Pots. Bit strange how that came in after the earlier calls from the 0115 number to my landline - could there be a connection?
