Got a call from some guy saying his name was "Kevin" and he was from "call blocking". Total nonsense, just a scammer trying to wind me up. I told him to jog on and ended the call. Then I saved the first few digits of their number into my phone’s call blocker so I don't get pestered again. Honestly, there should be some setting to shut these muppets up permanently!

I had a ring earlier today, and I have a sneaking suspicion it was a cold caller, but I picked up nonetheless. They started firing off some rather odd questions about the age of my washing machine and my life insurance premiums. Nothing offensive or out of line, but it was quite peculiar. I've since decided to block the number, though-seems it was just a survey or some kind of information-gathering tactic.
