Got a recorded call from what said it was Amazon and Western Union, telling me I had debts to pay. Total scam, don’t believe it!

Got a call from this number earlier today, claiming Amazon charged my credit card two times for big sums. Since I never use Amazon, I’m going to get in touch with my bank. They asked me to press a button to get more details but I didn’t fall for it. Hung up straight away and looked up the number online.

I received a recorded message purporting to be from Visa's customer support, stating that there had been some unusually large transactions on my account. It urged me to press 1 to confirm my details and, naturally, I recognised it as a scam. Quite brazen, really!

Got a recorded call claiming there were suspicious charges on my account that needed confirming. It didn’t say which bank or what the charges were about. They told me to press 1 if it was me, or 2 to talk to someone. Sounded super dodgy, like a total scam. Definitely staying clear of that one!

Beware, this is a con involving your bank card! Whatever you do, steer clear of pressing any options. The message mentioned something along the lines of ‘two transactions have been made with your card…’ and so forth.

I've forwarded this number to the fraud department for further investigation.

Got a voicemail saying there were two big charges flagged as suspicious on my credit card, one supposedly from Amazon and another an international transfer over £1000. I didn’t answer the call. Feels like a scam to me. Had a look at my bank accounts and everything seems normal.

Got a call saying there were loads of charges on my Visa for Amazon, and they told me to hit '1' to speak with someone about it. I didn’t trust it, so I just hung up. After having a quick look here, seems like I did the right thing - looks like it's a scam. I've gone ahead and blocked that number now.

I got a call from a woman saying there were payments needing my okay. She brought up some Amazon stuff and a bank transfer from abroad. Then she told me to press either 1 or 2. Sounds like it might’ve been a scam trying to steal info.

Got a call from some robotic voice pretending to be Visa customer service, warning me about some big suspicious charges. They asked me to press 1 to confirm or something like that. Yeah right, total scam!
