I played along a bit to see where this would go, then got transferred to another guy with an Asian accent who hung up straight away as soon as I hinted that I wasn’t falling for it. I received a call from this number after I posted an ad on Gumtree, and strangely enough, it wasn’t the only one; there were two others that reached out as well. I did pick up one of the calls, and the person on the other end claimed to be from a law firm inquiring about an accident I supposedly had - which was rather baffling, considering I haven't had any such incident! The callers appeared to be from Nottingham and Liverpool. Quite the curious turn of events, wouldn’t you say?
