Just like others have said, the line goes dead as soon as you pick up. They’re probably hoping you ring back and then get shifted from the 0115 number to some expensive premium rate number charging about £10 a minute. Don’t bother calling them again. #tossersthatscam

This bloke claimed he was from BT and said I was using their internet. When I told him that BT wasn’t my provider, he asked who it was. I politely told him it wasn’t any of his concern! He just buggered off after that!

Everytime I get a ring from a number I don’t know and haven’t saved, I just keep quiet. This call just cut off after like 10-15 seconds, so I reckon it was one of those automatic diallers! Most likely some scam or sales call.

Received a call from a rather friendly lady, who claimed to represent BT. When I asked her how she had my number and what this was all about, she mentioned that as a BT customer, I could snag a discount on various products. However, once I told her I wasn’t keen on the offer, she promptly wished me well and hung up. It does make you wonder-if BT is aware of these individuals pretending to be affiliated with them, why on earth are they permitted to operate like this? It raises quite a few questions, doesn't it?
