On Monday, I had a rather dubious call from a young woman who gave me the impression she was trying to fish for information regarding my partner, who suffers from Alzheimer’s. She claimed to have already had a conversation with him, which I found astonishing, as he struggles to recall even simple interactions. The following day, a gentleman reached out with a handful of queries. However, when I inquired about how he acquired details concerning my partner, he promptly made himself scarce. Quite suspect, I must say.
