Got a call from this number earlier, they claimed they heard about my car crash. I told them I was actually pleased someone had reached out since I’d lost both my legs and now use a wheelchair. The bloke on the other end started stammering badly and I just ended the call, laughing my head off. Proper proud of myself for just cutting it short. Fingers crossed they don’t ring back again.

Some bloke rang me saying he was from Goldstream, said he’d got a report about my husband being in a car crash. I told him it must’ve been bloody awful since my husband can’t even remember it. Then the man asked if I kissed me mum with that sort of mouth - I said YES and he just cut me off! Proper scam if you ask me!

I picked up this phone call on a whim. From the sounds in the background, I figured it was some call centre. They wanted to talk to someone who definitely isn't me so I just told them they’d got the wrong number and they ended it there.
