Seems like a dodgy insurance call to me.

I received a call from someone with a strong foreign accent who purported to be representing O2. He mentioned that my contract was nearing its renewal date and proceeded to pitch a renewal deal. He hinted that I could snag a 40% discount on my new contract if I went ahead with it. It was quite evident that he wasn’t aware I’ve never been an O2 customer!

Got a message saying my card info was in danger and to reply by text. Don’t reply, it’s just a scam to nick your money.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from O2, trying to sell me a SIM card. Seemed genuine at first but then they asked for my bank info. Since Ive got a direct debit with O2 already, they’d easily know if it was real or not. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
