Got a call from someone claiming to be o2, saying I could upgrade if I handed over some money. Problem is, I wasn’t even up for an upgrade and the price they mentioned was more than what my account actually said. When I questioned them, they just got annoyed and hung up on me.

Claimed to be from O2, they were promising a discount on my monthly payment. The catch is, I haven't been a customer of O2 in ages! I decided it was best to end the call.

Has anyone got any idea who owns this number? It rang me but I couldn’t answer it. Not sure if it was a wrong number or some kind of sales call. They rang me up five times and I only picked up one of those calls, but there was no one speaking on the line. They seem to call mostly on weekends and during the evenings, which is really annoying.

I got a call saying my Microsoft licence had expired, then suddenly the person was asking if I could spare £50 for food and getting back home!
