I told the bloke straight away I wasn’t interested and mentioned we’re on the TPS list, but he just wouldn’t take no for an answer. Then this guy called himself David kept nagging me to have a chat, so eventually I just hung up on him. What is it with these cold callers, don’t they get the hint?!

Got a really annoying call about some government programme - they said they were from SWN or something like that. I wasn’t interested at all, so I cut him off straight away. Didn’t get rude, just told him I’m on the TPS and MPS lists, so he really shouldn’t be ringing me up. Added that I wasn’t his “darling” and that I didn’t want to continue the chat, and hung up before he could say anything else. Almost instantly after, I started getting loads of silent calls from a mobile number, 07548 602171. It’s frustrating - why bother ringing if I’ve made it clear I’m not interested? Blocked the number, no more bother.

They told me it was some kind of government program to safeguard exterior walls. They said they’d visit me tomorrow to check it out.

I got a call where the person asked to talk to someone who doesn't even live here. When I asked what it was about, he refused to say. After I told him the person wasn’t at this address, he suddenly got really aggressive and started swearing.

Got a call from some bloke at 4.21pm on the 14th of July 2015 about roofing stuff. I said I wasn’t interested, and he suddenly got really cheeky, calling me rude for just saying no. Then he just slammed the phone down on me. I rang back to complain about how he behaved, and he told me he deals with idiots like me all the time before hanging up again. Pretty shocking attitude!
