I received a rather dodgy call about an insurance claim, or so they claimed. It felt very much like a scam.

Had a woman ring up asking for me by name, saying JD Williams had shared my details and I supposedly agreed to it. She was talking so quickly it was hard to keep up. I firmly said there’s no way I ever gave permission. She got quite pushy and argumentative after that. I looked up JD Williams terms on their site and they definitely don’t hand out info to third parties. This same company’s been calling me for weeks now. Just a heads up to be careful with calls like this.

For two days straight, this woman kept calling, asking for us by name. She said we must have agreed to let insurance firms get in touch with us. They called themselves something like Solutions or similar.
